"There's a new lighter red 2024 Leve ("leve" means "light" in Portuguese), produced with a blend of Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, Baga and Bastardo. It was produced in an approachable way, with only 11% alcohol, a profile of red fruit and fresh aromas. It matured in used French oak barrels for eight months, but it doesn't have oak aromas. There’s a light- to medium-bodied palate and very fine tannins, but it still keeps a Douro profile. It's approachable, straightforward and easy to drink.
