These wines were created by chef and River Cottage founder Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and Vincent Chansault, pioneering winemaker at Domaine Gayda in the Languedoc, France. The River Cottage range offers delicious, sustainable organic wines. It reflects a new, lighter style of winemaking and eco-friendly choices, including no foil and lighter bottles. The labels celebrate local birds, symbolising the estate's thriving biodiversity. A variety of plant cover crops between the vines and are constantly planting hedges surrounding the vineyards to protect us from the ravages of climate chaos.

Type & Grape: Rose - 60% Cabernet Franc, 20% Mourvèdre, 20% Grenache.

Tasting notes: An elegant rosé with both charm and backbone. Expressive and refined, opening with pleasing aromas of wild strawberry, white peach and redcurrant.

Food Pairing: Hugh drinks it with goat's cheese salad, smoked mackerel pate, chargrilled sardines and tomatoes on toast, risotto of asparagus and peas, and straight up in the sunshine, especially while standing next to a barbecue.
